2002: I have been teaching for 13 years and I love it. I can't imagine doing anything else. I began by teaching high school kids science and math for two years in Cleveland. Then I taught junior high school math for seven years in Elyria. I am currently teaching fifth graders at Windsor Elementary School in Elyria where math is still my specialty. This past fall I enrolled at Baldwin Wallace College to complete my master's degree in Educational Technology. My goal is to eventually obtain National Board Certification.

In December 1990, I married Kevin Ziegman (Elyria Catholic, 1980). We both graduated from Miami University (Ohio) but didn't meet there. My younger brother actually introduced us when he was playing football at EC and Kevin was coaching there. Kevin works for Beckett Air in North Ridgeville as the Quality Manager. He is now coaching fifth and sixth grade football for St. Jude Catholic School and loves it. We have two wonderfully bright and healthy children. Bryce will be 8 years old in June. He is currently a second grader at Windsor Elementary and loves going to school with mom everyday. Colleen will be five years old in March and will start kindergarten in the fall. Our favorite family vacation spot (so far) has been Hilton Head Island, but we are looking forward to visiting friends in Boston this summer and then it's Disney's Animal Kingdom next year! We live in Elyria on Ohio Street in an old home that requires constant attention. I still collect antiques and love to be outdoors.

My life is full to the brim with family, friends, work and school, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I feel truly blessed in my life and I am looking forward to visiting with all of our fellow alumni!
