I joined the United States Air Force in the fall of 1960. After basic training, I went to school in Mississippi to become an Air Traffic Controller. After ATC graduation, most of my job assignments were located outside of the United States including, Japan, Germany, Korea, Southeast Asia and Puerto Rico. I ended my Air Force career as an Air Traffic Control Superintendent, in charge of testing and evaluating Air Traffic Controllers. I retired in October of 1980, and settled outside the Omaha area in Papillion, Nebraska, due to the good schools and ideal rural settings. My wife Christine and I were married in January of 1973 and have three daughters and three grandchildren. Hobbies since leaving Germany in the late 1970's include road racing and track, even competing in several competitions at the Masters National level.

Currently, I am semi-retired and enjoying my family.
