July 14, 2000 Dear Classmates,

It's hard to believe that we have been out of high school for forty years.

I taught third grade in Oberlin for two years from 1966-1968. Then I moved to California because my sister and brother were already here. I live in Azusa, which is about 20 miles from Pasadena, home of the Rose Parade. I have been teaching primary grades in Duarte for the last thirty-one years.

When my mother was living in Oberlin, I visited her every August, and then last March she moved out to California. We sold the old house on Vine St last October.

I'm sorry I won't be able to join you at the reunion this year mostly because I'm teaching summer school this month. However, I will be thinking of you and am sure you will have a great time at all the events.
