Gary and his wife Deanna have 2 children; Tim, and Tad. They love skiing, snowmobiling, baseball, gardening, and swimming. Gary is a funeral director.

I have been a Funeral Director 35 years in Oberlin taking over for my father, Garnard Cowling. In 1964 I married Deanna Downing Cowling and we have 2 sons Tim, 33, and Tad, 36. Tim is a self employed carpenter and has 3 children. Tad is a third generation funeral director of Cowling Funeral Home in Oberlin.
