I married Melvin Smith from Wellington in 1953. We will celebrate our 50th anniversary next June. We had four sons: Dennis (46), Terry (44), Craig (41), and Kirby (Murf) (38). They are all married and we have six grandchildren: five boys and one girl. I guess you would say I made my career as a "Domestic Engineer." I belong to the Women's Club and Homemakers' Club, and I'm very active in our church. We have lived here in Kentucky for 36 years. My husband's work transferred to Kentucky from Wellington in 1966. My health could be better. I've had two rounds with cancer: once in 1990 and once in 2000. I have been a diabetic for 18 yrs. At the moment I am cancer free.
I exend my best wishes to all my classmates, and I wish them all the best of everything in the future.
