Rosalind Kenworthy (Oberlin College graduate in 1956) is the recipient of Planned Parenthood's Constance E. Cook Community Service Award. A leader in the successful effort to advocate contraceptive services at Cornell in the '60's, Roz became the university's first sexuality counselor, continuing until her retirement last year. The award, named for the woman who led the New York State legislature to passage of the nation's first comprehensive abortion law three years before Roe v. Wade, recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to reproductive freedom and sexual health.
