I am a tax accountant, self-employed, so Jan-April is a mess for me.
A brief summary of my activities since high school follows:
1956-57, U S Army, 16 mo in Korea
1961, Bridgewater College, VA, BS (business administration)
1961-1986, Accountant for an electric coop
1984, Masters degree (MSA), James Madison University
1986 to present, tax accountant
Nov 1996, passed the enrolled agents (EA) exam. This means I am enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service for my clients if called on to do so.
Owner of Bear Trap Farm, a family operation serving dinner parties, weddings, and class reunions from May through December. Also, a B&B is available.
I am married and have 3 sons and 2 grandchildren.
