I am divorced and have one living sister, Ethel Chambers White. My parents, three sisters and one brother are deceased. I have four children--Jeffrey, Diana, Stefan, and Teresa, and four grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
After high school, I attended Bowling Green State University from 1952-1953. I graduated from Oberlin College in 1975 with a major in religion and a minor in education.
I taught in Oberlin Head Start, Oberlin Early Childhood Center. I worked as a childcare worker and as a supervisor of childcare workers in Green Acres Children's Home, Oberlin. I was also a second cook and salad girl in Oberlin College kitchens.
I am now retired, but I babysit for two of my great grandsons, 1 year old and 2 years old.
I moved to Norfolk 4 years ago to be near my grandchildren and great grands.
My health is good, except for a bum knee.
