Lita Brown
Bill Albers, Lita's first husband, wrote to Martha Lawall Warnock on 11/5/01:
Hello! I do indeed remember you from Oberlin. It was nice to hear from you and of your activities in the past 50 years.
I am sorry to report that Lita died in 1997 of a dissecting aneurysm of the aorta. We were married for 20 years until divorcing in 1976. We had two girls who are now in Seattle and LA respectively. They each have two children. Lita remarried and lived in San Diego for 15 years until she died. I remarried in 1978 and have another daughter, who is now a medical student in Virginia.
I know she would have loved to attend her 50th - she was a funloving, loyal and caring person, who never lost her compassion and her sense of humor.
Thank you for writing. I hope your reunion is as successful as mine was this year. - Bill Albers
